Sex And Angelina Jolie

Apologies for the quasi-dirty title, but I felt pretty sure that would crank up the blog hits and Google searches today.

Anyway, let's play a little game I like to call "Spot The Typo Made By A Sexually Excited Publicist." This is from a press release on the new movie Beowulf, which I am reasonably sure will suck. Just in case they've changed it, it reads as such:

"Angelina Jolie has admitted she was got a little shy when she saw her nude scenes in her latest film Beowulf.

The actress says although the nude scenes were stimulated, she was still a little embarrassed. 'I was a little shy,' she says. 'I was really surprised that I felt that exposed. There were certain moments where I actually felt shy – and called home, just to explain that the fun movie that I had done that was digital animation was, in fact, a little different than we expected.'"

Yeah, I'm reasonably sure some underpaid publicist intern was looking at the press kit photos of a scantily-clad Angelina Jolie, and his mind just sort of wandered away from simulated nudity to stimulated nudity. I wouldn't mind seeing either, to be honest with you.

By the way, Jolie will appear in the movie Wanted next, which is adapted from a comic book but apparently without all of the elements that made the comic interesting. I don't understand how the film industry is going to be hurt by a writer's strike when 70% of what's released is from either a TV show or a comic book. What's next? "Goofus and Gallant: The Movie?"

my bff is a professor of medieval literature but refuses to see the movie cause she hates Angelina. says she's a homewrecker and Grendel's mother wasn't supposed to be hot anyway.

They've reanimated Goofus and Gallant in Highlights.... now they look like little cgi children. I'd go see that movie if it were in the old sketch form. Like that a-ha video was.
