PopCast: A Holiday Cornucopia
This week's PopCast is a veritable seminar of pop culture, tackling such topics as...
-- "The Fourth of July: Alcohol, Gunpowder, and You"
-- "Why Dick Cheney Beats The Secret"
-- "Entertainment Weekly Ranked The Joshua Tree Too Low, And Are Thus Insane"
-- "Rush Limbaugh: One Necessarily Rich Douchebag"
-- "The Christie Brinkley Divorce As Proof That Men Are Irrevocably Stupid"
Enjoy, share with your friends, and pass it around the holiday BBQ. Happy explosive holidays!
More discussion and sarcasm available on the PopCast, as always.

What the crap???
The Joshua Tree is number 63?????????
Those are two of my favorite CDs (or albums in the case of Joshua Tree). I teach a basic poetry analysis unit in my AP class using music. One of the songs I feature is Until the End of the World.
I hate the Pixies. Saw them opening for U2 in 1992 (Zoo TV tour-- I think). Didn't get them either.
The only benefit I see in Rush Limbaugh is that when Penelope mentions his name in her blog she gains about twenty hits. No kidding.
